A Day at Lakelands

The times of the start and close of the school day for all pupils at Lakelands Primary School are:

• Gates open: 8:20am
• School day starts: 8:25am
• Registration closes: 8:30am 
• End of the school day: 3:00pm

Every day, pupils in EYFS and Key Stage 1 will have a discreet phonics lesson (Read Write Inc), followed by either a maths or English lesson.

In Key Stages 1 and 2, our lessons are taught discreetly. More information about our subjects can be found on our Curriculum page. 

In Key Stage 2, pupils learn English and Maths everyday, with a discrete Reading lesson.

Extra-curricular clubs are also available, both during the lunch session and after school. Information about these can be found in our newsletters.

A wraparound care service is also available (breakfast and after school club). More information can be found here.
