Lights, Camera, Action: A Snapshots Journey with Miss Clark's Photography Club!

Did you know that Miss Clark was a professional photographer in a past life? It’s true! And last term, she brought her creative expertise to Years 1 and 2 by launching our school’s very first Photography Club. It was an exciting adventure where young minds and cameras clicked together in perfect harmony.

The children explored the art of photography through hands-on activities, such as:

• Mastering the composition of photos by ‘matching the lines.’

• Playing with light and shadows to create striking effects.

• Experimenting with perspective to see the world in unique ways.

• Bringing their imaginations to life through 'Stop Motion' animations.

To wrap up this fantastic experience, the club hosted an inspiring photography exhibition for staff, showcasing their newfound skills. And to share the joy beyond the classroom, their incredible work was also featured in an online gallery on Tapestry for parents to admire.

What a picture-perfect way to nurture creativity and celebrate learning!
